ABOUT

We are portfolio biotech project developers. Here at the SEAGRASSTECH project we make biotech mean the unthinkable!

Iam

A BIOTECHNOLGIST; WRITER

Our Principal at the SEAGRASSTECH Project has been working with portfolios ranging from agri-food and energy in rural development to protective health nutritionals (PHNs) including the development of new enzyme technology. He researches extensively the Internet's scientific literature to transfer information by communicating it to the public domain for the benefit of the public-at-large, professionals and other practitioners.

SKILLS
EDUCATION
WORK EXPERIENCE

Our staff have a general background in animal research and nutrition especially as it relates to health and residues byproduct in its relation to livestock productivity and the growth area of renewable energy including new investigations into plant-based bio-oils (biodiesel) and bionol (cracked blend alkanes, C6-C16, kerosene, our polycarboxyol from octadecane derivatives of the plant cell's membrane in certain tissues).

A Graduate of both Kalamazoo College, Michigan USA and UNSW, Sydney (AU) in the sciences with a specialization in biotechnology. My thesis was earlier on related drug steroidal synthesis (undergraduate) followed by a thesis on probiotics feeding vis-avis other residual feeding approaches and finally after some years a book monograph at the Ph.D. level on fibroin and related nutrition with livestock.

Recently used skills include your personal writer for profession success; open portfolio for research on the Internet; mail-outs and e-mail distributionals of common interest and self/indie publishing including preparation, submission and funding of projects. We also give technical input in our areas of expertise for consultation with research.

WHAT'S NEW?

Bio-oil and Bionol fuel renewables can

be traded for geothermally generated rechargeable battery systems in geologically active islands like Negros in the Philippine archipelago including applications in transportation.

Goat feeding is considered "a lean

game" in the Philippines (try our kare-kare stew for e. g.) so new developments hypothesized to delay marbling by feeding almost exclusively "escape" protein and starch from copra meal and corn meal (yellow) as is practiced in the Philippines with a maintenance ration of seaweeds and seagrasses mainly for high quality fibre and to maintain minimal healthy rumen function is proposed. New biological and chemical methods such as treatment with lactic acid or urea-formaldehyde to create bypass conditions in the rumen for "escape" of protein, carbohydrate

and fats in concentrate will be favour-able approaches. A moratorium on growth promoters (e. g. bovine

growth hormone, bGH) will be declared likely in public policy in farming prac-tices for a balanced "organic" approach.

IN THE NEWS

As we speak the Negros Island Region (NIR) is being transformed into the renewable energy capital of the Philippines in geothermally charged electrical grid co-ops and solar power. Marine hydroponics and fuel renewables could be just around the corner.

There are also rumours abounding at

"SkyeBlue" calling for development of economically viable XL-GRO varieties of seagrass using what would be PNA-Auxin (or ARF) carriered plant growth factors in solution applied to paddy farming in the tropics in addition to a proto-facility for vertical intensive farming in temperate climes for agri-retailing of fodders with hi-bred or producing cow farming to feed them with high quality seed or grain extracted protein concentrates.

This development also applies to pharma which will precede it is believed any operational phases for fodder production as well as downstream processing for "green" energy biofuel production to make multi-million dollar facilities pay for themselves.
